I miss semaphore errors, they made my Pico life enjoyable.

In my Pico lifetime, I have come across some interesting events. Long ago, I used to be actively writing blog posts. Then, players started to notice me as the 'Japanese Park Ghost' as I always linger at the Japanese Park. So that made many players know a lot about me. I have come across some copycats, fans, etc. who are trying to receive attention from me. I had a couple of friends who blogged and they tried to compete with my blog (maybe). Thinking back, I feel funny about that as I didn't know I would gain such attention.

I never notice if I'm being arrogant or something else. Most of the time, I tried not to get involved or create drama on Pico. I tried to talk nice to people, but you know, I have my limits. I admitted that I deleted a friend, who I added cos she was my fan but she was too annoying to me. HAHAHAHA. I'm truly sorry though.

The downturn of my Pico playing was when I stopped buying AG and Japanese Park started to have lagging issues. Pico didn't take serious actions about it. So I just play Pico because 'I wanted to feed my pets', period.

It's already been a month since Ameba Pico Virtual World has closed down. Despite receiving petitions, complains etc. from the players, CyberAgent eventually closed it down due to developer issues(?). I remember the time when I received the news, the big word 'YES!' came to me. Finally, I could REALLY get off this game out of my head. A huge flock of Pico players has migrated to Ameba Pigg, the 'big sister' of Ameba Pico. I come across English speakers more often wherever I go.

I came by this petition made by Benry, aka Thomas Liam G. The petition has already been closed down with 6,493 signatures, including myself. I scrolled down to 'Reason for signing' and read top comments, then more. I noticed the main reasons are: friends, memories and as you would know it, AG!

I cannot deny the fact that I do miss the memories I had with my friends. And I DO feel sad about the fact that I spent hundreds of MYD$ on AG and the game just closed down, wiping off all my AG items. Most players would concern about their AG/money. I would say that there are good and bad side of buying/earning AG to buy AG items, in my opinion.

We do feel good when we could afford to buy premium items on Pico. And our tiny avatars look nice, pretty, expensive etc (any way to describe your own avatar). But, we CHOSE to spend our money on virtual games like Pico. I, myself used to blame those bloody gachas which acted like scammers and vacuumed my money away, but we CHOSE to spin them, anyway. So, we can't just demand them to give our money back, cos nobody knows what really happened in CyberAgent. There could be other reasons as well, not just developer issues.

Let's just live on our lives, forget about the past (Pico), just play Pigg or whatever, it is more reliable. But PLEASE don't be too carried away.

After sleepless nights of writing a 1750-word business report about travel agency business, I finally have the 'inspiration' to write a new post. (I do things according to my mood)

I'm sure my writing skills has dropped after so many months of blogging hiatus. Obviously, I'm too busy for blogging. University has changed my life - I'm not that into Pico anymore. I find it boring, bored of those changes the staffs has made.

All those useless celebrity invitations don't do any good to us. No offense to Vietnamese players. Those increased prices of gummies items made me furious, of course. Gummies that I've saved so hard to build a new decor project are just useless effort. New awkward and useless actions too. My friends whom I used to play with are all inactive. I've overcome my addiction to buying AG, which is a good thing.


Maybe its time for me to quit Pico? :)

Closing down. (Just for the year)

I guess I need to stop blogging for a while, till end of this year. I'm really struggling with my university assignments and tests. D: By the time I've finished my first year of university, I would have plenty of time to play Pico and writing blog posts.

As all my friends can see, I'm half dead in Pico. Most of the time I'm AFK in Japanese Park 1. If you see me there, I'm right in front of the computer, but probably busy with my studies and assignments.

Gah.

Let me take a few minutes to write a short post. I've been busy with university. University is not like your typical high school, and yes, as I was predicting, it IS brutal.

I have four assignments at the moment. One is due tomorrow and I'm finishing it. Another one is due next Monday, so I have two assignments to finish by this week. And the other two, before the easter break. I'm anticipating this break so that I could relax and do some readings.

Well, this is the life when you get into one of the top universities. Everyone seems smarter and brighter than me, and they are so competitive. I wish this life could end fast! -.-

I've been on Pico but most of the time I'm doing my assignments and readings. Well, I think, sooner or later, I wouldn't be on Pico and focus more on my studies. :/

Back.

Dearest blog, I'm back to you. Finally, I'm back to where I was born, a little big city called Auckland in New Zealand. Feels like home. :) Life's been hectic since I moved here, after I've finished my Foundation Year in Dunedin. I miss the tranquil life in Dunedin. :(

I had problems with the enrollment into university. As soon I received an email about my grades sent from my previous university I was studying at, I rushed the university I was applying. Too bad, the last document they needed is the hardcopy transcript of my finals' results, which will be printed after a month. But classes are starting in about two weeks!

I had to call the previous university to post the hardcopy of my transcript to my brother's flat. It arrived 3 days later. Luckily, as soon as they receive it, they approved my application (phew!). My good grades helped me a lot. :) That was just a week before classes start. D: Just being lucky.

Just finished the first week of university. Errrr.... The first week is alright. I'm not sure. Back to student mode, no more procrastinating!

Back to blogging? I'm not sure also. University is not like high school or foundation year. It's gonna be BRUTAL. I'll be busy, for sure. And look, my blog views are increasing by itself... Here's a stats of the number of views for my blog posts since I started blogging.

The "Mr. Satan!" post is the most popular one. LOL. I have no idea why people love Mr. Satan a lot. Followed by "Yumehhh!", a post about signing a petition to help unbanning my dear friend Yumiko. Comparing, the number of views between these two..... Wow. "Mr. Satan!" post is more than 4 times of the "Yumehhh!" post. Hahahaha.

Back to the main question of the day. Should I go back to blogging? :/

A short break.

My final exam is coming in a week, so I have decided not to blog for a few weeks, or maybe for a month or so. I'm sure I'll be back!

My URL is replaced my Tumblr's URL, because I'm updating it everyday. Haha. It has been my URL for quite a while, but my blog is still receiving views. LOL.

Recently I've learnt about HTML codes at school, so I made use of that knowledge and a little help from the Internet. For readers with small screens, sorry, the buttons might block the sidebar.

The reason why the buttons are added is to give the readers the convenience, in case they need to pause the music player at the bottom while they are listening to other songs or they want to watch my videos. LOL. Good thinking, huh?

I said I will be inactive in Pico. But what was I doing? OH AM GEE. I just can't help myself. I need to stay disciplined, yeah?

By the way, in case you missed out, I made a video for my boyfriend, with the song Near or Far by Carissa Rae. MY FIRST EVER PICO MUSIC VIDEO! Thanks to Cherie, who helped me out with the song. :) The song is perfect for us. It took me just 5 hours to take pictures, put it on slide by slide, and then edit it to match the song.

Editing the pictures is the hardest part of the video, I needed to think of what to put on each slide and also write the lyrics on each slide. As you watch the video, the lyrics seem to come out on one picture, but actually they are different pictures/slides. Actually I do not have any knowledge of making a good and expert video. I do not have the right program to make it, just basic knowledge.

It's Mr.Semaphore again!

Mr.Semaphore's third issue of Pico Props Magazine is finally out! My friends, Yumiko (as the cover model), Trey (as one of the plaid fashion Picos), and Hayley (as one of the colors fashion) are all in the mag!

Mr.Semaphore is really nice! He does cool drawings. I saw a drawing of his friend on his Facebook, so I requested a drawing of my pico from him. He was actually delighted to do so! It's because he wants to practice his skills. ^^

Look who I've found! A grandpa dressed as a farmer. He came up to me and said I'm cute and wants me to tell him why I'm so cute. Hahahaha. He's so funny.

I'm not a big fan of Death Note, but I watched a movie about L. It was not Death Note. I don't remember anything about movie, though. I just know that he is very intellegent and likes sweet food.

I met a pico, ID: Xuffer. He wanted to be my buddy when we first met. I rejected him at first, but since he insisted to be my buddy, so I said "Okay...". He asked me to follow him later. I came to his room 2, I was like WOW! It's L! Love his hair! And he's eating macarons. Ahaha.

The first day of 2012 is around the corner. Time to make New Year Resolutions. I feel like.. doing something something special for this year. Next year would be the last year of having a "1" on my age. By the time I am 20, I don't feel young anymore. So, I have to treasure this year.

I've been playing this game for a year already. I met so many great friends, from different parts of the world. By playing this game, I feel the world has became smaller. Sometimes I'm not aware of the fact that we are playing from millions of kilometers away and having different time zones. To me, its kinda crazy.

Some of my buddies got banned from Pico for cheating tokens and gummies. I feel so sorry for them, like I've lost them from the game. I've been avoiding cheats. I don't wanna get banned! :(

OMG. It's already Christmas! I can't believe time flies with the same speed of light. I remember last year, when I first started playing Pico, I was collecting mushrooms and getting golden mushroom chairs from the old man who looks like Santa Claus at the pet farm. Old times. :')

I think it is already one year of me playing Pico. I've been playing Pico for almost everyday. The reason why I have never got tired of this game is I've made so many friends to play with. Even I'm so busy with school, I still play. I'm now an addict!

I don't feel like going out today, though. Instead, I'm looking forward for tomorrow, Boxing Day. I can't have Christmas Dinner with my family, because they are far far away. Hope you enjoy your Christmas dinner with your family. :)

Oh finally. After two weeks of not blogging, I've decided to blog. I've been busy with assignments and tests. I have an assignment due on this Monday and also an Economics test on the same day. OH AM GEE. What a hectic weekend.

Efflorescence.

There is a song which I got addicted to, that is, Bloom by the Paper Kites. I put that song on this blog now. It's a nice song, happy and relaxing music which I love. I hope the readers like it. :)

If you're a regular visitor to my blog, which I have no idea if I have or not, you would notice that I like putting slow, "quiet" songs for my blog. It's because I thought loud music would scare off the readers. Yeah, I've been in those situations when I read some Pico blogs, the bass suddenly booms out my headphones and probably made temporary deafness. So, I had to put myself in the readers' shoes.

To be really honest, I hate leaving my blog alone. My blog is like my baby, I have to take care of it. Dress it well, give it love. Once mine, always mine. I guess I haven't update for more than a week. I hate it, I feel irresponsible. I feel guilty for not taking care of myself either. Not eating well, skipping meals. I'm already skinny, but I'm getting skinnier!
